installed and low cost. This combination makes them ideal for OEM applications!
Raytek offers a complete range of compact low-cost models (listed
below)
Models Available:
Compact CI - Compact, low cost and
integrated electronics, designed for simple installation into a standard 4-wire
system. Ideal replacement for traditional J-type or K-type thermocouples.
Available with your choice of thermocouple or millivolt signal
outputs.
|
Compact MI - The new and hottest
sensor in the industry! Powerful full featured sensor in a miniature
package. Two piece system consists of a miniature sensing head and seperate
electronics. Complete range of user-configurable options gives this small sensor
the ability to tackle many applications.

Compact Series CI¢â
|
|
The CI Series Compact Infrared Sensors accurately and
repeatably measure the amount of heat energy emitted from an object and convert
the energy into a measurable electrical signal. The CI measures target
temperatures ranging from 0 to 500¡ÆC (32 to 932¡ÆF). The onboard electronics are
protected by a rugged IP 65 (NEMA-4) stainless steel housing, allowing the
sensor to function in ambient temperatures to 70¡ÆC (160¡ÆF) without cooling. With
water cooling, the CI can withstand ambient temperatures up to 260¡ÆC
(500¡ÆF).
Features:
- Type J or K, or 0-5 V output
- Two models cover temperature ranges from 0¨¬C to 500¡ÆC (32¨¬F to 932¡ÆF)
- IP 65 (NEMA-4) stainless steel electronics housing
- 4:1 optics at 90% energy
- 350 mSec (95%) response time
- Powered by 12-24 VDC at 20 mA
- Accessories available for cooling and air
purging

Compact Series
GP¢ç
|
|
The GP Series is a versatile, two-piece temperature
monitoring system that combines a compact monitor and an infrared sensing head.
The heart of the system, the 1/8 DIN GP monitor, provides advanced infrared
processing capabilities including peak and valley hold, averaging, and a
user-adjustable offset. The rugged Thermalert GPR/GPS sensors are available with
standard or close focus optics, and provide target temperature readings with 1%
accuracy. The Thermalert GPM is available with preinstalled
cable.
Features: - Temperature range from -18 to 538¡ÆC (0 to
1000¡ÆF) - NEW! GPS Laser Sighted Head (Click here to learn more about this
feature) - Compact 1/8 DIN digital monitor with large 4-digit display -
Monitor and sensor functions configured on front panel - Signal processing
capabilities typically found on much larger systems - Adjustable emissivity
and t-ambient parameters - Universal 110-220 VAC power included -
User-defined 4-20 mA or thermocouple output (J, K, E, N, R, S, T) -
Adjustable dual setpoints and deadband alarm outputs - Choice of sensing head
to match application requirements - Standard and close focus optics
available - Accessories for cooling and air purging - Field

Series GP Monitor¢ç
|
|
The GP Temperature Monitor Provides a Compact, Easy-to-Use Interface and
Display for Process Instruments. Accepting inputs from any 0-5V sensor, 4-20mA
sensor or thermocouple type J, K, E, N, R, S, T, the GP monitor can be used with
many Raytek noncontact infrared temperature sensors. The monitor also provides a
user-defined 4-mA or thermocouple output, and two adjustable setpoints/deadbands
to control the +5V alarm outputs or optional 3A mechanical relays.
The GP monitor accepts 110-220 VAC power and provides a 24 VDC/50 mA
excitation voltage, capable of providing loop power to external sensors. For
signal processing requirements, the monitor provides Peak Hold, Valley Hold,
Averaging features and a user-adjustable offset. Best of all, there are no
internal jumpers used for setup all monitor functions are configured via the
front panel.
Versatile. Compact. Value-priced. All reasons to standardize on the GP
monitor for your process monitoring
requirements.

Compact GPS
Laser Sighted Head¢ç
|
|
New! Raytek Laser Sighted GPS! The newest addition to
the Compact Series GP infrared monitoring system is the GPS sensor with laser
sighting. Laser sighting provides for alignment in hard-to-reach locations, or
to the small or distant targets that the GPS is capable of measuring (as small
as 4.5 mm at 200 mm and 0.18 in @ 8 in, for the close focus version of the
sensor).
The GPS targets temperatures from -18 to 540¨¬C (0-1000¨¬F) with
1% accuracy, and has a standard optical D:S ratio of 50:1. The GPS integrated
coaxial Class 2 laser is connected to the remote activation switch box via the
included 4 m (13 ft) cable. An additional 8 m (26 ft) of cable is also included
to connect the switch box to the GP monitor. |
